Words we use
Every term in the app and the docs, in one line each.
- Account
- Your identity on pocketphantom.com: an email with a password, or Google or Apple where offered. Owns the subscription, chats, projects and scheduled tasks.
- Approval
- The pause before an action that cannot be undone. Allow once, or always for that kind of action in that folder.
- Chat
- A conversation with the AI. On the web, saved to your account and listed under Recent, on every computer you log in on.
- Connection
- A plugin for a service you sign in to (Gmail, GitHub, Slack). Listed; connecting later.
- Context
- Standing instructions and files the desktop app sends with every request. The web's equivalent is a project.
- Desktop app
- The Windows app that works on your computer.
- Effort
- How long the model may think: Low, Medium, High, Max.
- Granted folder
- A folder you allowed the desktop app to work in. No folder, no file access.
- Included AI
- The model use a plan covers each month, counted as a multiple of Pro.
- Library
- The sidebar page that holds what PocketPhantom has made for you. Empty until it can make pictures.
- Log in
- Signing the desktop app in with your account, the same email and password as the website. Log out on this computer frees that computer again.
- Memory
- Short lines you have asked it to remember about you, kept on your account and sent with every chat.
- Model
- Which AI answers. Anthropic's Claude family (Opus 5, Fable 5.1, Sonnet 5, Haiku 4.5), OpenAI's GPT family (6 Astra and the 5.x models) and the uncensored GLM models (5.3, 5.2, Vision) on the web. All included.
- Plan
- The size of the subscription: Pro, Power, Max 5x or Max 10x.
- Plugin
- Something the AI can use while it works: web search, files, terminal, screen, browser.
- Project
- A folder of chats on the web that all follow the same instructions.
- Run
- One execution of a scheduled task. Becomes a chat.
- Scheduled task
- A prompt with a schedule and a place to run: in chat, or on your computer.
- Screen privacy
- The app hidden from screen capture and sharing. On by default; F8 toggles it.
- Subscription
- Your plan and its billing: monthly or annual, alone or per seat for a team.
- Task
- Anything you ask for. On the web it is answered; on your computer it is done.
- Two-step verification
- Optional: a code by email after your password when you log in from a new browser. Settings › Security.
- Web app
- pocketphantom.com when you are logged in.
