Trading
Charts, analysis and your own strategy rules, right in the chat. Tips and information, never financial advice.
Trading is one optional part of PocketPhantom, for people who trade. Ask for a chart, an analysis or a check in a normal chat; if you never ask, you never see it. It gives tips and information, never financial advice. It places no trades and connects to no exchange, and right now it offers no backtests. What you do with it is your decision.
Charts
Ask for the chart of a coin, a share or a pair in plain words, such as "show me the Bitcoin chart" or "Bitcoin on the 1-hour chart with RSI", and TradingView's chart opens right in the chat, on the timeframe and the up-to-three indicators you name, or on the price and its volume when you name none. The first TradingView chart asks before it loads, because your browser then fetches it from TradingView, which receives your IP address, your device and the symbol. Choose to load that one chart, or every chart from then on; a yes to every chart stays on your account until you switch it off in Settings › Trading. Until you choose, your browser sends nothing to TradingView.
For a coin TradingView does not list, the assistant looks its price up on the web and, where the pages give it on at least two dates, draws those prices in our own chart with links to the pages they came from and the words Prices from the web, may be delayed or wrong.
Analysis
Ask how a coin is doing and, with web search on, the assistant searches the web for its recent daily closing prices and our code works out an analysis from them: the price against its averages, RSI and MACD, the change over a week, a month and longer, how much it swings, and the nearest support and resistance. The assistant explains those numbers as web figures that may be delayed or wrong. It never names a price target and never says which way a price will go.
Your strategies
Describe a strategy of your own in the chat, or in Settings › Trading, and the assistant turns it into exact rules (when to enter, when to exit, a stop-loss or take-profit if you want one) and reads them back before anything is saved. Saved strategies live on your account; rename, change or delete them in Settings › Trading, where each has a Check in chat button. To check one, ask in a chat whether it triggers: with web search on, the assistant looks up the latest values, our code checks each rule against them, and the chat shows every rule with the value found, its source and whether it is met, not met or unknown. A value it cannot find stays unknown and is never guessed.
