Quick start

Five minutes from a new account to your first task done by the AI, all of it in your browser.

What you need

  • A browser, on any computer: everything below happens on the web
  • An email address you can read: it is your account, and the sign-up code, password resets and invoices arrive there
  • A card for the subscription; payment goes through Stripe. The Free plan asks for none

1. Create your account

Go to pocketphantom.com and press Sign up. Enter your email, then choose a password. We email you a six-digit code: type it into the same page and you are in. The code is valid for ten minutes; if it does not arrive, press Send a new code. If you want a code as a second step at every login, switch on two-step verification later in Settings › Security. You can also press Continue with Google and skip the password entirely; Apple is on the way.

2. Choose a plan

Pick a size on the pricing page. Every plan includes our AI models; the sizes differ only in how much AI you get each month. Pay with Stripe and your subscription starts right away, on the browser you are already signed in on. Nothing arrives by email except Stripe's invoice. In no hurry? The Free plan answers five messages a day on every model, and you can move up whenever you like.

3. Start chatting

There is nothing to install. pocketphantom.com is the chat: sign in and the box is in front of you. Type, press Enter, and the answer arrives as it is written. The pill with the model's mark chooses who answers, the sliders button next to it how hard the model thinks, and web search is always on. The Windows app that works on your own files is being rebuilt around accounts, so the download page has no installer today and everything in this guide happens in the browser.

4. Give it a first task

Ask for the result you want, the way you would ask a colleague. Something small first:

Read the PDF I attached and give me the five numbers that matter, one line each.

Press + to add the file, or drop it into the box. Follow-ups work, because the chat keeps the conversation: "shorter", "in German", "now draft the email that goes with it". Every chat is saved to your account, so it is waiting on the next computer you log in on.
